Brock University Field Trials
ABAzyne is proud to work with Penn State University to test the efficacy of ABA Boost in field trials.
In the fall of 2022 and 2023, ABA Boost was applied to Marquette grapes shortly after harvest.
The experiment consisted of three treatments and six replicates:
Control (no treatment);
The entire vine treated; and
Half the vine treated and other half not treated. This was done to determine if the active ingredient is translocated from one half to the other.
Results
In the treatment in which whole vines were sprayed, tetralone treated vines were more tolerant to low temperatures in mid winter (see below).
